Mentor Sessions with The Popes! We offer a variety of mentor sessions, from “coffee/Skype dates” to half day and full day sessions in the Seattle area or destination of your choice. All of our sessions include a customized in-person or Skype mentor session with teaching and training from both Gerald & Airika, a clearly defined set of action steps laying out your “next steps,” and a follow-up phone session to help hold you accountable to your goals. Some half and full day sessions also include a series of follow-up phone sessions that not only allow you to explore additional business and photography topics, but also allow us to assess and “troubleshoot” your business over an extended period, helping to ensure that your business is growing as a result of your time with us.
What topics can we cover? Whatever you would like–we’ve been doing this for a while and are confident that we can help you in a wide variety of areas! That said, we love relationship-based sales & marketing, goal setting & business planning, brand development & defining your target market, lead management and cultivation, client meetings & closing the deal, portfolio reviews, off-camera lighting, and lighting & composition, to name a few.
How much do your mentor sessions cost? Mentor sessions fees vary depending on the number of topics you’d like to cover (i.e. time), as well as any follow up sessions that are needed to assist you with complete implementation. “Coffee/Skype dates” are available for $350 and are perfect for covering just one or two topics. For a more holistic approach, we recommend that you book a full or half day session, starting at $750.
Do you work with Seattle-area photographers? We accept a limited number of local mentorships each year. Please inquire to see if we still have space for you!
Do you offer workshops or group sessions? While most of our mentorships are tailored individual businesses, we do have a selection of business and photography topics that work well in a multi-studio mini-workshop environment. If you would like to have us come to your city, please contact us with details and we can explore the possibilities together.
When and where can I do my mentor sessions? Mentor sessions are available Monday-Thursday, 9am-6pm PST. Sessions take place at our home in Seattle, WA, at a select number of photography conferences, or at the destination of your choice (travel expenses extra).
How do I sign up? Just complete our contact form and indicate “Mentorship” in the shoot type field. We will forward you a getting to know you questionnaire to assess your goals, dreams, and needs, and once we receive your responses, we will follow up with a recommended “plan of attack” for you and your business!
