Jen & Clark | Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club Wedding

As I mentioned in a post about their engagement session, I first met Jen and Clark several years ago when I was working as the staff photographer at the PRO Sports Club in Bellevue, WA. Clark is definitely one of the most fun, positive, and energetic people I know, and you should see his eyes light up when he talks about his beautiful bride! And Jen is equally fun and energetic, and it’s clear throughout every interaction that she’s completely smitten with Clark. Jen and Clark were married on a gorgeous sunny day at one of our favorite wedding venues, Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club. There’s just something about the mountains and the scenery there that inspire us, and we couldn’t have been more excited to be there with them to capture their day.

I (Airika) really love the coral dresses that Jen picked for her bridesmaids. It’s a beautiful color and the dresses were flattering on all of the girls. I love how they “pop” off the background of the images below.

Jen and Clark had these cute little polka dot boxes for theirs guests to fill up at the candy bar, and it worked perfectly as a mini lighting studio for this ring shot. At first, the dots in the background didn’t show up very well, so we found something black to put behind the box it to give it a little more contrast, and Voila!

Kaliko & Omid | Wedding Aftershoot | Bellevue, WA

You may remember Kaliko & Omid, whose gorgeous New Year’s Eve wedding won our hearts and caught the attention of Seattle Bride. We had a wonderful time working with them, and had been looking forward to their fashion aftershoot for many months.

Aftershoots allow us the opportunity to explore places that we may not otherwise be able to photograph on the wedding day, and as we planned for Kaliko and Omid’s session, we agreed that the architecture at their apartment building in Bellevue, WA was worthy of a photoshoot. We began their session there, and after throroughly exploring the lines and light at the Bellevue Towers, we headed over to the Kirkland to capture the sunset on the water. It was a wonderful evening with a lovely couple, and we hope you enjoy their photos!

Amy & Alok | Four Seasons Wedding | Seattle, WA

Amy & Alok’s wedding at the Four Seasons Seattle was absolutely incredible. Amy was a stunning and sophisticated bride, and Alok a classy and handsome groom. When they saw each other for the first time that afternoon, it became clear just how much they adore each other. Alok was brought to tears, and kept telling Amy how beautiful she was. I couldn’t help but get caught up in the moment, and even teared up a little bit myself.

Amy & Alok, we had so much fun capturing every single moment of your day–you two are beautiful inside and out, and we feel so lucky to now call you friends. We hope that you love your photos, and we look forward to hanging with you in New York this fall!

About the image: One of Amy & Alok’s requests was that we get some photos on the pool deck at the Four Seasons. We wanted to make sure the light was perfect so we set aside some time just as the sun went down. (When the sun lowers out of sight, the sky becomes a giant reflector of natural, soft light, which is beautiful for portraits.) The only problem was that the pool deck was completely packed with people enjoying the beautiful Seattle evening. Thankfully, everyone graciously moved and gave us room to capture a few quick photos of our sweet couple.

We also wanted to say a big Thank You to the staff at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. The level of service that they provided was beyond amazing–it was clear throughout the day that they worked hard to anticipate every need for Amy and Alok, their guests, and even their vendors!
